When a degenerated arthritic disk causes you lower back pain, you may want to determine if you are suffering from OA or RA. Osteoarthritis is one of the most common forms of the condition, and it tends to lead to headaches and chronic suffering for the patient, while rheumatoid arthritis may seem milder, but it is just as incapacitating.

You may use the corticosteroids in treating back pain of this nature, but you will definitely require constant pain relief and exercise to halt the progression of the disease, and improve your suffering. I’m sorry, there isn’t a cure for either of these diseases yet.

Dull pelvic discomfort on both sides and nausea with back pain is indicative of a cancer. Ovarian cancer is rather common in women, while prostate cancer could infect anyone at all. The bad part is that when you start to feel pain back pain in either of these conditions, you suffering must have advanced quite a bit, spreading very likely to your ribs, pelvis, and other bones.

Although it may also be as a result of prostate enlargement, once you have eliminated that potential cause of the syndrome, you should start undergoing the cancer treatments in a hurry.

There are a lot of other causes of back pain that you should be aware of, and for the most part, doctors have their hands full trying to diagnose a patient with the set of symptoms that describes back pain, that they could take days. But if you want the pain to stop, you have to undergo it.
